He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Wingo Crawford; his significant other Mary; his son Paul Andrew (Drew); his family Peggy Wray Wood; his close friend Marshall Denison; and his grandfathers, Zachary Deaver (Michelle), Tyler Deaver, Britney, Peyton Deaver, Alec Crawford, Taylor, Corey Crawford, Casey (Megan Vest Quest), Zach, Jared Vest, Ashlyn Bradner Grindstaff, Shane, Avery Bradner, Mary-Cadence (Emma) and Jonathan Bradd.
He is survived by: his father Arthur Ballard; his siblings, Arthur Jackson and Dorothy "Joan" Crawford Allison; his daughters, Faith Crawford Deaver (Ross), Alison Crawford Vest, Kristin Crawford Bradner (Brian) and Whitney Crawford Bradd (Justin); his daughter-in-law Teresa Wilson Crawford; his grandsons, Trevor Deaver and Mike; his great grandchildren, Jacks, Payne, Lily, Drew and Wills; and his brothers-in-law, Tommy Fox, Buddy Stickman (Dawn) and Kenny Stickman (Lori).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sandy Ridge Baptist Church (1444 Bonbrook Mill Rd, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
