She was predeceased by: her husband John Ed Turner; her daughter Karen Turner; her sister Barbara Johnson; and her parents, Mary Johnson and Dennis Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Mark Turner; and her siblings, Brenda Garber (Jim), Daniel Johnson (Pat) and Claude Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Her family suggests memorials be made to Franklin Heights Church (110 Hilltop Drive, Rocky Mount, VA, 24151).
