She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Witcher and Exie Price Witcher; her husband Clarence Lemon; her children, Claudine Woody and Clifton Woody; and her siblings, Melvin, Alvester, Luther, Willie Witcher, Bessie Cobbs, Beatrice Witcher, Eleanor Muse, Addie Witcher and Yvonne Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Woody, Sr. (Victoria) of Martinsville, Jerome Woody (Bernice Wright) of Penhook, Rev. Vernon Woody (Laverne) of Bethlehem, Elder Claude Woody (Lucille) of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and Carrie V. Smallwood of Beltsville, Maryland; her daughter-in-law Betsy Woody of Penhook, Virginia; her godson Glemell Mcghee of Penhook, Virginia; and her siblings, Thelman Witcher of Roanoke, Buddy Witcher of Jacksonville, Bobby Witcher of Roanoke, Virginia, Mozelle Witcher of Penhook, Ola Holland of Rocky Mount, Sandra Preston of Boones Mill and Juanita James of Penhook, Virginia. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren.
