Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Joe Martin; and her parents, Mary Magdalene Spencer Moore and John Robert Moore. She is survived by: her children, Barry D. Martin and Debbie Martin Maynard; her granddaughter Glynnis Maynard; and her son-in-law Rick Maynard. She is also survived by sister and two brothers, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rocky Mount Baptist Church (85 W Church St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Franklin County Rescue Squad, Rocky Mount Baptist Church or Good Samaritan Hospice.
