It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Johnson of Rocky Mount, Virginia, born in Ferrum, Virginia, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva and Charlie; and his siblings, Tommy, Ann, Charles, Oliver, Louise and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Sara (Brent) and Hunter (Kathryn); and his grandchildren, Peter, Jude and Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Johnny's memory be made to Rocky Mount Baptist Church or The Crooked Road.
