Though Ira has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jean Roth; his children, Bryon Roth (Barbara) and Anna Byrd (Johnny); his grandchildren, Tyler, Rosa and Danielle; and his sisters, Jewel and Estelle. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount (665 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Memorial Park (5970 Grassy Hill Rd, Boones Mill, VA 24065).
