She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Mae Woody and John Oak Taylor; her husband Lewis Gray; her siblings, James Wallace Patterson, Joe Delbert Patterson, William Patterson, Thomas Irvin Patterson, Lewis Patterson, Lula Belle Taylor, Sally Taylor, Cordelia Holmes and Mary Clark; her son Edward Gray; and her children-in-law, Debra Edwards Gray and John Chism.
She is survived by: her children, David Gray (Lois) of Winston Salem, NC, Mark Gray of Roanoke, VA, Raymond Gray (Connie) of Roanoke, VA, Billy Gray of Washington, DC, Florine Muse (Vandal) of Rocky Mount, VA, Loline Young of Rocky Mount, VA, Nancy Chism of Rocky Mount, VA and Frances Stovall of Roanoke, VA; her sisters, Delores Thompson of Richmond, VA and Christine Waltower of Cleveland, OH; and her daughter-in-law Doris Gray of Roanoke, VA. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nephews, cousins.
