He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bassett and Gladys Bassett; his son Michael Bassett; and his brother Truman Bassett. He is survived by: his daughter Sharon B. Jones; his granddaughter Taylor Jones; his sister-in-law Ellen Bassett; and his friends, Joan Bassett, Bobby Moyer, Larry Wray and Sigmon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
