With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Prillaman of Rocky Mount, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on June 26, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Doris is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Doris' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Paul and Myrle Masterson; and her husband Ottis Blanford Prillaman. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Prillaman Peterson (Rick) and Jennifer Prillaman Painter (Tom); her grandchildren, Trudy Elaine Painter, Joseph Isaac Painter and Julie Marie Peterson; her friend Rita Rufty; and her pet Honee.
