He was predeceased by: his father R. Emory Brubaker. He is survived by: his mother Zelda H. Brubaker; his brother Stephen E. Brubaker (Jackie); his nieces and nephews, Keely L. Colvin (Derin), Ashley B. Grice (Josh), Riley S. Brubaker (Kaitlin) and Tyler H. Brubaker (Kristen); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jagger Colvin, Crew Colvin, Emory Grice, Ida Grice, Nora Brubaker, Emma Brubaker and Meredith Brubaker; and his cousin Judy Irvin.
