He was predeceased by: his sibling Louetta Faye Spicer (Toots); and his parents, Henry Spicer and Myrtle Mathena Spicer. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Scott (Kalvin), Charles Spicer Jr. (Barbara) and Johnny Spicer (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Shannon Chappelle, Brianne Scott, Katelin, Morgan, Taylor, Cody, Brynlee, Easton and Bryson Spicer; his great grandchild Abby Chappelle; his siblings, Marvin Spicer (Reva), Robert "Bobby" Spicer (Sue) and Opal Grose; and his spouse Louetta Faye Spicer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rocky Mount Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1535 N Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
