He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Mattox Hubbard and Hubert L. Hubbard; his wife Opal Maxey Hubbard; his son Gary W. Hubbard; and his sister Margaret Turner.
He is survived by: his daughter Rachel H. Law (Leonard); his grandson Jimmy Wayne Hubbard (Heather Akers); his great grandchildren, Nathan, Elijah, Faith and Reagan; and his siblings, George Hubbard, Billie Hubbard (Martha), Lee Hubbard, Jeanette Berthold and Jackie Hubbard (Gail).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Flora Funeral Chapel (665 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
