She is survived by: her children, Junior "Alan" Townes, Christopher "Eugene" Townes (Annette), Michael "Tony" Townes, Rose Smith (Garry), Betty "Deebie" Townes and Cynthia Townes; and her siblings, Shirley Ross (Marshall), Lois Hale (Tyrone), Reverend Vandel Muse (Florine), Mike Muse, Timmy Muse, Keith Muse, Freeman Muse and Alvin Muse. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, a host of great-great-grandchildren, and many friends.
