He is survived by: his children, Yvette Turner of Rocky Mount, VA, Kimberly Hale of Rocky Mount, VA, Regina Holland of Collinsville, VA, Alan Hale, Jr. of Rocky Mount, VA and Jammie Hale (Coretta); his grandchildren, Tenesha, Dontae, Asia, BriAunda, Mimi, Korleisha, Kortia, Cameron, Jamal, Z'Hkera, Brittany, Adrian and Isaiah; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Jamari, Aaden, Aiyanna, Caden, Messiah, Gabriel, Teagan, Jaleel, Jamiyah, Kimora, Jeremiah, Jahmir, Riley, Gianna, Savannah, Tristan, Malachi, Skylar and Kenzlee; his siblings, Mamie Hale, Janice Pegram, Elder Rodney Hale (Lee), John Hale, Tony Hale (Lois) and Clyde Hale; and his aunt Maxine Hale. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
