He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Franklin DeHart and Bobbie Jo Hutchinson Tolbert. He is survived by: his son Chris DeHart; his daughter-in-law Melanie Hanshew of Rocky Gap; his daughter Jessica DeHart; his son-in-law James "Jake" Prescott Lewis of Wytheville; and his grandsons, Talon Boniface of Marion and Oscar Lewis.
