She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gills and Lola Scaggs Gills; her husband Elmer E.; her son Samuel M.; and her siblings, Freeman, Jim, Claude, John, Betty Lou, Dorothy and Mary Ellen.
She is survived by: her sister Lois; her brother-in-law Bob Wingard; her granddaughter Kellie; and her great grandchild Daphne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and friends.
