It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettye Jean Morehead of Rocky Gap, Virginia, who passed away on August 16, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William Patton; her husband Claude Shrader Morehead; and her sister Lorene Morehead. She is survived by: her children, Stan Morehead and Jan Morehead; her grandchildren, Bryant Morehead (Stephanie), Alex Pribanich and Caroline Ogle (Kyle); her sister Alice Hare; and her niece Sharon Wilburn.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Bettye's honor to the Bland County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 585, Bland, VA 24315.
