He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruby M. Schonberg and Thomas Mason Melton; and his son Jerry Duane Melton. He is survived by: his sons, Everett Jr., Steven (Shelley) and Patrick (Terri); and his siblings, Vera M. Wilson of Henrico, Violet M. Lane of Henrico and Stuart James Melton Sr. of Rockville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
