He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Shifflett Davis; his children, Lorrie Davis and Steven McRay Davis; his brother Charles Emerson Davis (Sonny); and his half-siblings, Louella D. Lohr, Linda D. Hawkins, Carol C. Veth, Richard Chesler and Robert Chesler.
He is survived by: his son Larry Lee Davis (Mary) of Madison; and his grandchildren, Taylor McRay Davis of Grand Rapids and Sarah Holden Davis of Roanoke.
