He is survived by: his wife Katherine Mouberry Shepherd; his sons, Bruce Alan Shepherd (Connie), Harry Dean Shepherd (Sandra) and Steven Brown Shepherd (Rhonda); his stepchildren, Gayle Shifflett, James Mike Shifflett (Dreama), Delmar Wayne Shifflett (Tina) and Joseph "Joe" Edward Shifflett (Marlena Marshall); and his sister Betty Shepherd Utz. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
