It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Rice Woodward of Rochelle, Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Watha Caudill Rice and Francis Alma Tate Rice; and her siblings, William Rice, Evelyn Schubert and Barbara Sue Woods.

She is survived by: her husband Harold Ross Woodward; her children, Pamela A. Hess (Steve) of Ruckersville, Harold R. Woodward, Jr. (Susan) of Madison and Ronald W. Woodward (Honey) of Madison; her siblings, Donald Rice of Peterstown, WV., Janice Nancy Thompson (Johnny) of Homosassa, FL. and Naomi Jean Nuzzo (Louie) of Sofia, NC.; her grandchildren, Patrick James Hess, Paige Lillian Hess, Michael Shane Woodward, Lauren Ashleigh Woodward, Amber Hubbard, Andrew Allee, Ashleigh Rievers, Alyssa Allee, Addison Allee, Abram Allee and Abigail Allee; and her great grandchildren, Alexander James Hess, Chloe Hubbard, Kinsley Hubbard, Ada Rievers, Theodore Rievers and Matthew Foley.
