She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Henry Kipps; her parents, Stuart Kennedy Frayser and Adell Burkman Frayser; and her sister Pearl F. Moody. She is survived by: her sons, Kennedy Kipps (Caroline) of Charlottesville and William B. Kipps (Trisha) of Midlothian; her grandchildren, Tobias, Linda, Hazel and Paul Kipps; and her nieces and nephews, John, Barbara, David Kipps and Dana Moody.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Nebo Lutheran Church (3980 Jacks Shop Rd, Rochelle, VA 22738).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Betty's honor may be made to the Madison County Library or Martha Jefferson House in Charlottesville, her last residence.
