He was predeceased by: his parents, George Meador and Rena Meador; his sisters, Dot Helms and Kathy Williamson; and his grandsons, Leon Campbell and Jeremiah Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Marion; his children, Cindy Ruff of Roanoke, VA, Lynn Meador of Blue Ridge, VA, Bryan Meador (Beth) of Fort Mill, SC and Alan Meador (Jaime) of Spring Hope, NC; his grandchildren, Crystal Mabry (Jeffrey), Chandler Meador, Lauren Meador, Destiny Meador, Jacob Meador, Andrew Meador and Samantha Shultis; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Brittany, Casey and Zaira; his siblings, Shirley Thomas, Keith Meador, Clayton Meador (Faye), Kenny Meador (Bonnie), George A. Meador (Greta), Sue Gordon (Bruce), Ralph Meador (Robin) and Barry Meador; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Williamson and Art Pendleton (Susannah). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
