He is survived by: his significant other Laura Mitchell; his children, Keefer Bickel (Rebecca Stewart-Owen) of Hudson, MA, Corena Pirrello (Mario Pirrello) of Blue Ridge, VA and Layla Esch Bickel (Gavin Cranmer) of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Samuel Cole Owen-Bickel, Henry William Owen-Bickel, James Warren Owen-Bickel and Maurizio Warren Pirrello; his former wives, Dr. Rebecca Esch of Buckfield, ME and Connie-Clay Bickel of Glen Burnie, MD; his brother Carl Bickel (Joyce Bickel) of Andover, MA; his nephew Nathan Bickel (Fengyuan); his great-nephews, Zachary and Alex Bickel of Andover, MA; his sister-in-law Rachel Esch (David Bremser); his mother-in-law Judith Esch of Jamaica Plain, MA; his pets, Angel, Jax and Warren; and also Asher Bremser of Jamaica Plain, MA.
