She was predeceased by: her daughter Brandy Jo Collins; her brother Troy Edward; and her parents, Katherine Overstreet and Noel Peck. She is survived by: her brother Larry Carter; her nephew Larry Edward Carter, Jr.; and her pet Icee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
