She is survived by: her husband Gary Ayers; her father Clarence Hostetter; her brother Jimmy Hostetter; her children, Carrie Ertel (Scott), Amy Schoonover (Adam), Brian Ayers (Dena) and Jonathan Ayers; her grandchildren, Austin, Megan, Brittney, Carly, Olivia, Emma, Laurel, Hallie, Ally, Taylor, Gabby and Tae; and her great grandchildren, Zephryn, Zandy, Jackson, Logan, Rylee, Aubriana, Brooks and Lila.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gospel Light Baptist Church (6307 Cloverdale Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
