She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Newman and Maggie Newman; her grandmother Charity Craighead; her sister Carla Nunley; and her uncle David Childress.
She is survived by: her husband Reid Carr; her daughters, Robin Markham (RG) and Holly Weddle (Kevin); her stepson Jon Carr; her grandchildren, TJ Perdue, Joseph Weddle, Devin Weddle, Trevor Weddle, Amelia Weddle, Zeke Weddle, Allex Carr and Kaylee Joe Carr; and her brothers, Russell (Linda Newman), Wayne (Vicki Newman), Kenny (Louise Newman) and Tony Newman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
