She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Bayse and Margaret Shelton Bayse; her husband Richard Lee Beard; and her sister Delores Robertson. She is survived by: her children, Timothy "Tim" Beard (Sharon) and Wendi Beard Stevenson (Kenny); her siblings, Jerry F. Bayse (Becky), Michael F. Bayse (Alice) and Tammy Bayse Pimm; and her granddaughters, Brittney Beard Jarratt (Blake), Emily Sandra Stevenson and Sarah Marie Stevenson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (1001 Franklin Rd SW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens (7271 Cloverdale Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019).
