He is survived by: his parent Samuel Hodges McGhee, Jr.; his spouse Sara Louthan McGhee; his son Samuel Hodges McGhee IV (Mack) of Roanoke; his daughters-in-law, Ann Pitzer McGhee of Roanoke and Robert William McGhee (Will); his daughter Laurie McGhee Wright of Blackridge; his son-in-law Vance Everett Wright of Blackridge; his daughter Julie McGhee Settlage of Blacksburg; his son-in-law Robert Earl Settlage of Blacksburg; his grandchildren, Haley Morgan McGhee, Linsey Brinn McGhee, Samuel Hodges McGhee, Warner Anderson McGhee, Claire Aubrey Wright, Isabella McGhee Chavez, Zachariah McGhee Wright, Luca McGhee Chavez, Maya McGhee Chavez, Nathan Elias Settlage and Benjamin Robert Settlage; his sister Louise McGhee Clark of Silver Spring; and also, Ormond Beach, Karina Abidar Chavez of Lima and Peru.
