He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Patterson and Joyce Via Patterson; his siblings, Richard, Evelyn, Nancy, Shirley, Nita and Theresa; his granddaughter Kelly Marie; and his close friend Jimmy Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Seidell (Brad) of Tabby Patterson, R. T, Tim Patterson, Bessie Metcalf and Harley Patterson-Highberger (Joseph); his grandchildren, Tabitha, Tyler, Matthew, Ronnie, Davey (Leah), Christina, Maddy, Haley (Caleb), Joseph (MacKenzie), Larkin, Gabriel, Illiana, Luna, Zack, Issac and Julio; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Ella, Tessa, Paisleigh and Scarlett; his granddaughter Debbie Wertz; and his sisters, Beth Halterman, Lettie Patterson and Vicky Sorrels (C. R.). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
