The memory of Ronald Herron of Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on November 30, 2024 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Herron and Geraldine Herron; and his brother Wayne Herron. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Herron; his children, Lisa (Kevin Keeney) and Gary (Theresa Gusler); his grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Tatiana and Dominic; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Tyler and Stratton; his siblings, Janice (Buddy Crawford), Faye (Gary Wright) and Roy (Binky); his sister-in-law Melody Herron; and his friends, Eddie and Sharon Isom.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's North Chapel (6732 Peters Creek Rd, Hollins, VA 24019). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1401 Mountain View Rd, Vinton, VA 24179).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Ronnie's name to the Blue Ridge Cancer Center.
