He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Jeanette Trout; his parents, James E. Huddleston and Annie Huddleston; his siblings, Hazel Tate, Virginia Maxine Chastain and James L. "Jimmy" Trout; his siblings-in-law, Nelson Tate, Marvin Chastain, George Robinson, Anita Faye Trout and Sandra Robinson; his niece Cathy Tate; and his nephew James "Jay" L. Trout, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Twila T. Gibson; his son-in-law Michael; his sister-in-law Patricia Josey (Bill); his grandson Robert T. Gibson (Crystal); his great grandchildren, Bailey, Nash and Halle Gibson; and his nieces and nephews, Nelson Tate, Jr., Gene Tate, Richard Haley, Tara Sawin and Allison Sawin.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (305 E Washington Ave, Vinton, VA 24179). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
