Though Rebecca may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rebecca touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Walawski and Marian Love Walawski. She is survived by: her husband Larry Tabor; her sisters, Kathy Ashwell and Sandra Cole (Charles); and her sister-in-law Sue Tabor Holbrook (Kenny). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home (5160 Peters Creek Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Hill Cemetery.
