He is survived by: his children, Sydney Garst French (Jack) and Phillip Alfred Garst, III (Courtney); his siblings, Cheryl Garst Hambrick (Harry), Cindy Garst Allen, Cathy Garst Fortune (Bill) and Chuck Garst (Kim); his aunt Linda Deyerle (Bill); his uncle Richard Moore; his cousin Karen St. John; and his close friend Allen Shiplett. He is also survived by friends and coworkers at Home Depot; friends.
