She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Epperly and Ada Correll Epperly; her siblings, Gaye, Edna May, Marvin and William; and her husband Kenneth Howell.
She is survived by: her sister Faye; her daughters, Jill (Jay) and Sue; her grandchildren, Eliana (Marko) of Derek, Noah, Jeremiah, Laila, Anthony "Bud" (Katie), Adrian, Ben and Lynne (Jessee); her great grandchildren, Knox, Aiken and Stella; her close friends, Ruth, Heather, Donna and Lindall; and also, Adrian, Joyce and Bonnie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home (5160 Peters Creek Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019).
