He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver King Evans and Bessie Louise Evans; and his brother Kenneth Evans. He is survived by: his children, Julie and Jeff Evans; his siblings, R. Wayne Evans (Star) and Brenda Drinkard; his stepsons, Stacey Hamlett, Joland Hamlett and Brandon Hamlett (Kathy); his wife Susan Hamlett Evans; and his pet Sasha. He is also survived by many cousins, in-laws.
