Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Kolnok (Mickey) and Elizabeth Kolnok (Lee). He is survived by: his wife Linda Conner Kolnok; his sons, Michael J. Kolnok III and Matthew W. Kolnok; his granddaughter Alexandra Kolnok (Allie); and also, Donovan Keen and Jessica Robey.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home (5160 Peters Creek Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5737 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24017).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Gary Senise Foundation at PO Box 40726 Nashville, TN 37204 or Good Samaritan Hospice at 4751 Cove Road NW Roanoke, VA 2401.
