She was predeceased by: her daughter Kathy Lynn Coldewey; her siblings, Betty Bradberry, Minnie Bryant and Roy Bowyer; and also Leon.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Andrea Kaye Hixon (Charles) of Polk City, Florida and Kevin Whitmer (Regina) of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Carly Whitmer (Nate Bachtel) of Hamden, Connecticut, Olivia Whitmer of Plainfield and Griffin Whitmer of Plainsboro; her niece Patricia Puglisi (Wayne); her great-nieces, Samantha and Sarah; her nephew David Whitmer of Proctorville, Ohio; her sisters, Annie Sink of Clifton Forge and Elsie West (Gibby) of Clifton Forge; and her sister-in-law Florence Bowyer of Daleville.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
