He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Belcher and Gladys Belcher; his brothers, Palmer "Sonny" and Garrett Belcher; and his sister-in-law Marian Belcher.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene Belcher; his son Matthew; his daughter-in-law Dana Belcher; his granddaughters, Evie and Paisley Belcher; his nieces, Cindy Spear and Tamara Rosser; and his nephew Scott Belcher.
