She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jesse R. Covey and Elisabeth S. Covey; her children, Edward H. Brewer, III (Joan Fargis) and Ann Brewer Thornhill (Randy); her granddaughters, Jordan Elizabeth McDonald and Carrie Madison "Maddie" McDonald; and her brother Jerry J. Covey of Dublin, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Good Samaritan Hospice that cared for Meg and her family so well, or Greene Memorial United Methodist Church, Roanoke.
