He is survived by: his wife Renee Thompson; his children, Erin Chambers (Dimitri) and Brian Thompson; his sister Regina Thompson; his mother-in-law Delois Burnett; and his siblings-in-law, Laurita Bruton (Billy), Kimberly Burnett-Hoke (Harold) and Charles DeVaughn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Missions Fund C/O Gods House Baptist Ministry 3601 Melrose Avenue Roanoke, VA, or to the American Cancer Society's Moving Toward a Cure Relay for Life team.
