She was predeceased by: her husband James Combs; her former husband Basiel Smith; her parents, Spencer Pendleton and Ida Pendleton; her sister Edna Mills; her brother-in-law John Mills; and her former husband Nelson Foutz.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Foutz (Sherry), Lynne Lusk and Anthony Smith (Kristi); her granddaughter Stephanie Hicks (Brad); her great grandchildren, Lindsie Hicks and Bristol Hicks; and her close friend Katie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lotz Funeral Home (1001 Franklin Rd SW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5731 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012).
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that loved ones make donations to the SPCA Foundation.
