He is survived by: his mother Etta Dabbs Hancock of Gladys, Virginia; his siblings, Edith Burks (Robert) of Rustburg, Walter Hancock (Linda) of Bear, Eddie Hancock of Gladys, Fannie H. McEachern (Larrry) of Fayetteville, James T, Selena H. Mitchell (Antonio) of Lynchburg and Loretta A. Hancock of Gretna, Virginia; his aunt Carrie Lockett; and his close friends, Debbie McKellar of Roanoke, Steve Lawrence of Roanoke and Vernon of Roanoke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528).
