He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Hudson and Margaret Rowe Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Fincher Hudson; his son John Keener Hudson, Jr. (Carolyn Hudson) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Katherine Parks Hudson, John Keener Hudson III and William Bennett Hudson of Charlotte; and his sons, Michael David Hudson, Jr. (Lesley Hudson) of Roanoke and Marella Stewart Hudson of Roanoke.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (1 Mountain Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24016).
