She was predeceased by: her mother Madeline Johnson; her children, Ronald "Rashon" Johnson, Tyrine "Nessie" Coppage and Madeline "Cookie" Johnson; her brothers, Vernon Johnson and Albert "Sonny" Johnson; and her great grandchild Isaiah "Lil Zay" Coppage, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Richard Lewis; her daughters, Patricia Brown and Tanika Johnson; and her siblings, Patricia Robertson and Richard Johnson. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home & Crematory (1002 Moorman Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24016). Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
