She is survived by: her siblings, Janet Hopson and Roger Bailey, Sr. of Roanoke, VA; her nieces and nephews, Lenora Page (Archie) of Roanoke, Roger Bailey, Jr. (Angela) of Raleigh, NC, Napoleon Bailey (Aisha) of Roanoke, Tonya Brown of Huntersville, NC, Petina Bailey of Roanoke, Terry Hopson, Jr. of Roanoke, Dwayne Bailey of High Point, NC, Robin Royer (Deon) of Roanoke, Tennille Brown (Anthony) of Charlotte, NC and Adrian Brown (Marshina) of Knoxville, TN; her sister-in-law Lillian Bailey Hickman (Zenobia Bailey); and her sisters, Gloria Bond and Gail Shipman. She is also survived by 20 great nieces and nephews, 5 great-great nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home (126 Gilmer Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24016). Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (2910 Cove Rd, Roanoke, VA 24017). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
