With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeannine Burks of Roanoke, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jeannine left this world on September 29, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank William Burks Sr.; and her parents, Christian Rufus Prillaman and Grace Slone Prillaman. She is survived by: her children, Frank William "Bill" Burks Jr. (Elizabeth Dameron) of Roanoke and Kristen Burks Clark (Brett) of Leesburg; her grandchildren, Bryan Wellington Burks, Sydney Grace Clark of Ann Arbor, MI and Jack Wellington Clark of Leesburg; her caregiver Tasha Eaton; and also Sandra Bryan Burks of Roanoke.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oakey's Roanoke Chapel (318 Church Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
