She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Rudd and Deloris Rudd; her siblings, James Rudd, Carolyn Rudd, Doris Young, Leah Radcliffe, Evelyn Springs, Becky Schaefer, Martha Stevens, Roy Rudd and Sam Rudd; her husband Robert Ewers; her children, Kelly Goria, Melissa Weaver (Michael) and Stephen Ewers (Amy); her grandchildren, Joseph Goria (Marlea), Jessica Bowen, Jacob Bowen (Jessica), Justin Goria, Nicholas Ewers (Caroline) and Collin Ewers (Cam); and her great grandchildren, Briggs Bowen and Baylor Bowen.

She is survived by: her siblings, Veronica Arnold (Bruce), Mary Cogar, Vernon Rudd (Gerri), Paul Rudd (Hattie), Martin Rudd (Gail) and Michael Rudd (Robin); and her sons-in-law, Joe Goria and Danny Bowen.

“Dear family of Janice, It is a sad day to learn of Janice's passing. While I had the good fortune to meet Bob and Melissa at the Roanoke Athletic Club, we always felt like we knew the entire family as Janice always talked with love and pride about all her family members. We had the good fortune to work out with Janice in Bodypump classes for 15 years. She was always warm, friendly, and happy. She will be remembered as a beautiful lady. Deepest condolences. annette”
