He is survived by: his mother Inez Mendenhall; his friend Townes; and his siblings, David, Samuel Jr., Janice Metts (James), Brenda Moore (Larry), Elder Gaynell White (Sterling), Cynthia Williams, Sharon Reeves (Marcellous Jr.) and Bonnie Mendenhall. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Townes Funeral Home (215 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
