He was predeceased by: his brother Ricky Crowder. He is survived by: his parents, Clyde E. Crowder and Lottie Bowles Crowder; his son Shane Padgett of Roanoke; his niece Rebecca Patterson of Collinsville, Virginia; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Myka Patterson, Bryson Patterson and Cyera Patterson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cave Rock Baptist Church Building Fund, 2233 Stoney Battery Road, Troutville, Virginia 24175.
